CeeDee Lamb's Reaction to Cowboys Selecting Oklahoma Teammate Neville Gallimore in 3rd Round is Perfect
By Michael Luciano
The Dallas Cowboys couldn't resist adding arguably the best wide receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft, as they used the No. 17 overall pick to select Oklahoma wideout CeeDee Lamb.
Jerry Jones must have been a big fan of Oklahoma's tape last season, as he used their third-round pick on Sooners defensive tackle and Canadian native Neville Gallimore. Lamb was thrilled that his old teammate is coming to Dallas with him.
Gallimore wasn't the most productive lineman last year, but teams like the Cowboys were entranced by the mouthwatering athletic ability and his potential as a pass rusher. Those traits were on display at the Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine.
With Gerald McCoy and Dontari Poe projected to start, Gallimore and 2019 second-round pick Trysten Hill should give the Cowboys one of the best defensive lines in the NFC.
With Lamb taking the top off the defense on one side of the ball and Gallimore racking up the sacks on the other, the Cowboys have quite the promising foundation for the future.
