Celtics and T-Wolves Clearly Didn't Come up With an NBA Hashtag for This Season or Put in No Effort
The NBA released a list of each team's hashtag for the season and, we have to admit, most of them are pretty awesome.
Some of the best include the Nets' #WeGoHard, in reference to Brooklyn's Jay-Z, and the Nuggets' #MileHighBasketball, which, of course, alludes to Denver's altitude. As you can see, a lot of these required actual effort to come up with.
But then there are a couple others that aren't creative whatsoever. The two that stick out are from the Celtics and Timberwolves, as both have hashtags that literally just say their team name.
This is supposed to get the fanbase amped?
One has to wonder if all the teams had to submit their hashtags to the league by a certain date, and maybe Boston and Minnesota didn't get them in on time. That would make a lot more sense than the creative team for these organizations just not being able to think of anything good. We'd like to give them more credit than that considering these are billion-dollar organizations.
Hopefully the backlash the Celtics and Timberwolves receive for this will inspire them to come up with something better for next season.
