Brad Stevens Confirms Gordon Hayward Will Make Christmas Return for Celtics Against Toronto
By Sam Dunn

The Celtics have a bit of a Christmas miracle headed their way ahead of their Wednesday clash with the defending champion Toronto Raptors.
With Gordon Hayward's status up in the air thanks to a nagging foot injury, head coach Brad Stevens has finally delivered the good news: the veteran wing is "good to go" for the first game of the NBA's 2019 Christmas slate.

Hayward just can't seem to catch a break. After missing all but five minutes of his entire first season in Boston due to a devastating lower leg injury, he was finally on his way back to full strength this fall after an uneven 2018-19 NBA season before hurting the foot only to fracture his hand less than one week later.
Fortunately, after a series of cortisone shots and R&R, Stevens insists that Hayward is ready to roll on the big Christmas stage.

It's no Red Ryder BB gun, but if you're a Celtics fan, this is a pretty sweet gift nonetheless.
