Celtics Star Jaylen Brown Has Absolute Perfect Take on Coronavirus Crisis
By Evan Wolff
The coronavirus outbreak has people all over the country in limbo about what the next course of action will be. With even more safety precautions being put in place that will leave arenas and stadiums without fans, many have seen such measures as a direct attack on their fandom.
That, of course, is not the case. Health officials will always act in what's best for the safety of all, especially when dealing with a disease that's rapidly spreading. Jaylen Brown, a star for the Boston Celtics, is one professional player who recognizes this, and had the perfect comment in response to those who are criticizing safety measures being put in place.
What a measured response in the face of so much anger being spouted from fans who are not realizing the gravity of the situation. It can seem like a dramatic overreaction to clear out stadiums and have the players performing for the cameras only, but it's in the interest of the greater good and the health of the entire world. Brown, who has always been a level-headed smart guy, echoed that sentiment.
Don't worry American sports fans, we'll survive if we can't go to sporting events for a couple months.
