Former Denver Broncos backup quarterback Chad Kelly has been suspended by the NFL after yet another incident in a long line of questionable behavior.

The former Ole Miss quarterback, who was released by the Broncos last October after being charged with criminal trespassing, was surprisingly signed by the Colts on May 20, but will now be sidelined for the first two games this season thanks to last year's bad decisions under the influence.

The incident in question occurred after a halloween party at Kelly's then-teammate Von Miller's house. Kelly reportedly entered a stranger's house after 1:00 AM and mumbled incoherently on the couch as the homeowners attempted to usher him out of the residence.

Kelly has had a history of misconduct dating back to his days at Clemson University, when he was dismissed from the program for conduct detrimental to the team in 2014. He then spent a season at East Mississipi Community College, tearing up the JuCo circuit on the way to a national championship (prior to the college's exposure on the Netflix series Last Chance U).

After a successful but injury-riddled two seasons at Ole Miss, Kelly was the last overall pick in the 2017 draft. With the Broncos, Kelly saw the field for only one play of regular season action, rushing for a 1-yard loss.

Kelly already seemed unlikely to make the Colts' roster. With the news of this suspension, it seems that his "last chances" may be running out.
