Chargers Announce TE Hunter Henry Suffered Fractured Tibia Against Colts
By Mark Powell

Death, taxes and critical Chargers injuries. If you feel like we've been here before, you're 100 percent correct.
Los Angeles managed to defeat the Colts in Week 1 in a game which was much closer than the experts predicted, especially considering it was Indy's first game since the shocking retirement of Andrew Luck. Yet, Los Angeles' victory came at a cost.
Tight end Hunter Henry has suffered yet another injury, this time fracturing his tibia.
#Chargers TE Hunter Henry suffered a tibia plateau fracture to his left knee during Sunday’s game vs Indy. No timetable for his return. Brutal.

Hunter Henry Injury History
The Chargers were hoping for an impressive season from Henry, whose oft-injured status has kept him off the field for quite some time. Henry suffered a lacerated kidney in Week 15 of the 2017 season and missed the rest of the year. In 2018, the former Arkansas tight end tore his ACL during OTAs and missed the entire season.
Somehow, the Chargers expect Henry to be back in 4-to-6 weeks, and won't place him on injured reserve. This timetable is surprising, and perhaps overly hopeful.

You can add Henry to a litany of other Chargers' injuries, including ailments to the likes of Derwin James, Russell Okung and Trevor Williams...not to mention Melvin Gordon's untimely holdout.
