Chargers Twitter Perfectly Shuts Down Rumors of Franchise Moving to London

The first couple years for the Chargers in Los Angeles haven't exactly been smooth sailing. This isn't really due to their play on the field, but rather the lack of attention they've been getting from NFL fans.
Back in San Diego, the team had a supportive fanbase that stayed loyal through all the rough patches. But in the City of Angels, there are days when more fans of the opposing team show up to their stadium, which has resulted in rumors suggesting the team might be moving to London as the NFL looks to expand across the pond.
Well, Dean Spanos wasn't the only one to adamantly deny the rumors. The Chargers Twitter account chimed in with an awesome response to the hearsay.

The Leonardo DiCaprio clip from "The Wolf of Wall Street" was the perfect comeback to these rumors.
Still, despite the A+ response, not everyone seemed to believe that the Chargers would be staying put in LA.

Oh boy, the Chargers better hope they do end up staying in LA, otherwise this will surely be dug up in a few years time.

Would their minuscule fanbase in LA even notice if the Chargers were gone?
Why would your "fanbase" trust that? You left your hometown 2 years ago for a shot at a new market. Seeing how few fans you have in LA makes it pretty clear the situation hasn't changed and you're just as likely to do the exact same thing again with London

Talk about being skeptical.
The rumors linking the Chargers to London won't go away any time soon, but for now expect Spanos and the rest of the organization to continue pledging their future to Los Angeles.
