Charles Barkley Has Spot-on Criticism of Kevin Durant Signing With New York Team
By Max Scoli

It's well known around the NBA that if Kevin Durant decides to leave the Golden State Warriors, he will likely head to the Big Apple to play for the New York Knicks. But, is New York a good fit for the former MVP of the league?
Charles Barkley doesn't think so.
Durant is notorious for responding to Twitter hate from fans, begging the question: If KD can't take criticism from random fans, how will he respond to the New York media? In Barkley's eyes, the superstar is not mature enough to play in such a large market like New York City.

Barkley would continue to say that Durant is, "a great person, he’s a great player. I don’t think he has the mental makeup to play in New York. That’s just my personal opinion."
He makes a valid point. If he can't even manage the criticism he receives online from high schoolers without clapping back, the New York press would tear him to shreds if he came to Madison Square Garden.

Being a superstar in New York is not easy. While you are conveyed as a hero in the media if the team plays well, you will be vilified if the organization fails to meet expectations, a fate all too common in the Knicks recent past.
Can KD handle the heat? Probably not.
