No matter how physically dominant they may be, coming into the NFL from college is a massive jump for draft prospects. Playing in the NFL means going up against the world's biggest, fastest, and most talented players...EVERY week. Despite that, Ohio State defensive end Chase Young things he's ready to take on the challenge.

Young is ferocious, and there'll be no greater challenge at the next level (in terms of elusiveness) than taming Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who took the NFL by storm in 2020.

Jackson reached a 101.3 quarterback rating, while also scorching opposing defenses for 1,206 rushing yards, which was more than star running backs Leonard Fournette of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Dalvin Cook of the Minnesota Vikings racked up.

Despite his insane numbers and speed, Young thinks he can take him down in open space before he's even played an NFL game.

The confidence Young has is immense, and you love to see it in a potential high draft pick. Saturday, he declared himself the best player in the draft, and it's not too crazy of a statement.

Young was a dominant pass rusher in his college career, totaling 16.5 sacks and 46 total tackles last year for Ohio State.

Whether or not Young is ready to take on a player of Jackson's caliber one-on-one remains to be seen, but hopefully we will be able to see the answer if they go head-to-head in a game next season.
