Check Out DeSean Jackson Back in an Eagles Jersey at OTAs
By Jared Kish
A familiar sight was spotted on the Eagles' practice field Tuesday, as DeSean Jackson was finally back wearing the No. 10 jersey for the team that drafted him back in 2008.
After signing a new three-year contract with his former team, Jackson is sure glad to be back where everything started. And the fans in Philly have to be giddy about the reunion as well.
In six seasons with Philadelphia spanning from 2008-2013, Jackson was a key part in the offense. He recorded three 1,000-yard seasons, 32 TDs, and had 356 total receptions.
And who could forget his game-winning punt return in 2010 against the rival Giants?
The Eagles' high-flying offense will be much improved this season with Jackson's help. Last season with Tampa Bay, the speedster lead the NFL in yards per catch with 18.9. It was the fourth time in his career that Jackson has lead the NFL in that category.
Philadelphia quarterback Carson Wentz ought to be excited to have the wideout join the team, as it will give him more opportunities to stretch defenses vertically. It's all shaping up to be a productive reunion in 2019.
