Chet Holmgren out for the season with a foot injury

This is something you never want to see. As soon as the Oklahoma City Thunder drafted Gonzaga big man Chet Holmgren in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft, fans have been fired up to see what he can do.
That will now have to wait until next year. On Thursday, it was revealed that Holmgren has suffered a foot injury that will sideline him for the season. Just like that, his rookie campaign is over.

You've got to feel for Holmgren. He's got a ton of potential and was ready to make a splash for OKC. He'll hope to bounce back in 2023-24.
