VIDEO: Andy Reid on 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives' With Guy Fieri is Glorious

In perhaps the most uncalled-for crossover the world has ever seen, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid recently made a guest appearance on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" television show on Food Network. Reid and Fieri were in Kansas City visiting a restaurant called Pigwich, and Reid made sure to delight in devouring a shortrib patty sandwich for all to see.

That's some serious eating talent right there. Fieri even comments that Reid had already inhaled half of the sandwich before he even had a chance to finish describing its ingredients and preparation.

Honestly? Nothing less ought to be expected of Reid in this situation.

Ironically, Fieri is a well-known Oakland Raiders fan, whom the Chiefs are actually facing off against this week. Not only are they AFC West rivals, but they'll be playing for control of the division and a guaranteed playoff spot, as the Raiders are 6-5 while the Chiefs are 7-4.

One can only imagine the sheer volume of jabs Fieri and Reid delivered at each other about this week's matchup, but in the end, food is the medium that unites everybody -- even a Chiefs head coach with a Raiders fan.

What a time to be alive.
