The Kansas City Chiefs are already the early favorites to repeat as Super Bowl champions. The team only has five picks in the 2020 NFL Draft and even adding just one elite rookie contributor could make the Chiefs even more unstoppable.

The latest rumor to emerge is that the Chiefs are interested in trading up to select Alabama wide receiver Henry Ruggs. That is according to NBC Sports' Peter King.

A potential trade for Ruggs would not come cheap. One team in particular the Chiefs could call is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team is set to pick No. 14 overall and may be more willing to move back now that Tom Brady is in town. So what sort of trade package would convince the Bucs to make the deal?

The Chiefs could give up the No. 32 overall pick and their third-round selection (No. 96 overall) for starters. A 2021 fourth-rounder would further increase the value of the move. This would still give the Bucs three picks within the top 76 of the draft.

However, the Bucs are still missing out on a No. 14 overall talent. The Chiefs can package Sammy Watkins in the deal as well. This gets his contract off the books and lets the Bucs add a talented veteran on an expiring contract as the team chases a Super Bowl in the short-term with Brady in town.

The Chiefs adding Ruggs would make their offense lethal with Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman also at receiver. It may be the fastest receiving corps ever assembled and opposing defenses would be forced to come up with entirely new strategies just to avoid getting torched on every single down. If Ruggs is still on the board at No. 14, the Chiefs have to make this trade call.
