Minutes later, the Chiefs declared Jones out for the remainder of the Sunday Night Football matchup with a groin injury. Considering how quickly the diagnosis was, it's not a promising injury for the Chiefs pass rusher.

The injury bug has attacked the Chiefs on numerous occasions against the Colts. Wide receiver Sammy Watkins left the game with a hamstring injury, linebacker Anthony Hitchens was ruled out with a groin injury, and defensive tackle Xavier Williams left with an ankle ailment.

The Kansas City Chiefs' defensive talent and depth was already of concern entering Week 5, and now with Jones out, things are only going to get more difficult from here on out, especially if he'll be out of action for a significant period of time.
