Chiefs DL Chris Jones Considered 'Week-to-Week' With Groin Strain

It turns out Patrick Mahomes' ankle was the least on Kansas City's problems after a Sunday night defeat at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts.
Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones left Sunday night's game against the Indianapolis Colts with a groin strain, and according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the 25-year-old will miss some time and is considered week-to-week.
#Chiefs DL Chris Jones, who suffered a groin strain last night, is expected to miss some time and is considered week-to-week, source said. He had his MRI today and appears to be the most significant injury out of last night for KC.

It could've been a lot worse, but this is a huge absence for the Chiefs. Kansas City was already one of the worst-run defenses in the NFL, and now their top defensive lineman is out for who knows how long.
Chiefs fans are about to find out what it’s like without Chris Jones next few weeks.

Not only does Jones help significantly in the run game, but he provides a lot of interior pressure on the quarterback. Now that's gone for at least the next couple weeks. The Chiefs defensive unit will have to prove their worth without one of their best players, especially on the back end with Tyrann Mathieu anchoring the secondary.
In five games this season, Jones has tallied 11 total tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery.
