Chiefs Equipment Arrives in New England and KC Won't Have to Forfeit vs Patriots
By Michael Luciano

The Kansas City Chiefs were in danger of forfeiting their much anticipated matchup against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, as 35 of their players were missing some form of equipment after it was mistakingly sent to Newark, N.J.
Luckily for Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, and Kansas City, the equipment in question has been delivered to New England, taking a forfeit out of the cards. Crisis averted.
Update: The Chiefs' gear reportedly has arrived at Gillette Stadium. There will be no forfeit.https://t.co/XKzzQlizug pic.twitter.com/Y93M9SSgFT

How does a screw-up of this magnitude even happen?
The Chiefs already had two of their top running backs hurt and inactive in this game, and now they almost had to forfeit thanks to a uniform mishap. As if facing the vaunted New England Patriots defense wasn't a tough enough task!
So... there's somehow a possibility that the Chiefs might have to forfeit a game because their uniforms are late, per Schefter. That's incredible that THAT'S the rule. https://t.co/lNLwH6KlKW

You need to be in the perfect mental space if you want any hope of taking down Brady and the Patriots in New England. Hopefully for the Chiefs' sake the uniform mishap doesn't psyche the Chiefs out ahead of their game against arguably the best defense in the league.
