Chiefs Getting Rid of Marcus Peters When They Did Was the Best Possible Move
By Michael Luciano

After being traded from the Chiefs to the Los Angeles Rams, cornerback Marcus Peters has remained just as much of a headcase without the otherworldly production that made him such a talented asset in Kansas City.
During the Rams' 30-29 defeat on Thursday night at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks, Peters was seen on the sideline getting into a very noticeable row with an assistant coach.
Marcus Peters is having a heated exchange with an assistant coach on Rams sideline. Hmm, why does that seem familiar?

Peters, who was kicked off the team during his college days at Washington, has always been able to skirt disciplinary consequences thanks to his standout ballhawking play on the field.
Despite a pick-six against the Bucs, Peters has regressed during his tenure as a Ram. Look no further than Thursday night, when Seahawks rookie deep threat DK Metcalf broke loose for a long touchdown catch in which Peters bizarrely played off coverage when Metcalf was running alone down the middle of the field.
Why is Marcus Peters running so far out when DK is clearly running inside ? https://t.co/hUeyWndmez

Peters and Aqib Talib have been getting burnt to a crisp in the last few Rams games, and Kansas City has to be happy with safety Armani Watts and speedy receiver Mecole Hardman as compensation for Peters.
