VIDEO: Chiefs' Harrison Butker is Making 70-Yard Field Goals in Warm-ups Due to Mexico City Altitude

And you thought kicking in Denver was easy. The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers will do battle from Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on Monday Night Football, and the high altitude has created a perfect kicking scenario for Harrison Butker. The Chiefs kicker was seen in warm-ups nailing what would have been a 71-yard field goal, which would have shattered the current NFL record of 64 yards that was set in Denver by Matt Prater.

Mexico City's official altitude is listed at 7,382 feet, which dwarfs the 5,280 feet Denver can claim. The increased altitude might make it more likely that players get tired due to the lack of oxygen, but it also means that the ball is going to fly farther.

Gear up for 70-yard field goals and Patrick Mahomes going over the top all game long!

With Butker drilling 70-yarders and Mahomes able to throw the ball from one end zone to the other, Monday Night Football is going to be nothing short of ridiculous.
