Chiefs Hopeful Frank Clark and Chris Jones Can Play Sunday vs Vikings
By Jerry Trotta

The Kansas City Chiefs are steadily getting healthier with each passing week, but, thanks to injuries, they will still be at a distinct advantage for Sunday's showdown versus the Minnesota Vikings.
Patrick Mahomes is expected to miss another week as he recovers from a dislocated kneecap, but Andy Reid and Co. might welcome the return of prized offseason trade acquisition Frank Clark, who missed last weekend's loss to the Green Bay Packers with a neck injury. DT Chris Jones also stands to return on Sunday after dealing with a groin injury over the past few weeks.
NFL insider Matt Verderame understands that the Chiefs view Clark as a genuine game-time decision for the 1 p.m. ET kickoff, while Jones is anticipated to take the field.
Chiefs DE Frank Clark is a true game-time decision, per source.

His neck has steadily improved this week to the point there is legitimate hope he can go Sunday vs. Vikings
Clark certainly hasn't lived to his billing this year, but his return would still serve as a tremendous boost to the Chiefs defensive line, especially with Jones, the team's 2018 sack leader, also set to make his return.
Kansas City will simply need all hands on deck to dispose of a Vikings squad that has won four games in a row.
Sources tell me there’s a chance QB Patrick Mahomes will play tomorrow vs #Vikings. Expectation is DT Chris Jones will be active. Team hopeful on pass-rusher Frank Clark. All limited in practices and officially listed as questionable. Game-day decisions.

Stay tuned for updates on Clark's availability in the hour(s) leading to kickoff as the Chiefs' decision will likely come down to how he fares in pre-game warmups.
