The Green Bay Packers might be without Pro Bowl wideout Davante Adams for Sunday night's showdown versus the Kansas City Chiefs, but head coach Matt LaFleur should be thanking his lucky stars his injury report isn't nearly as alarming as Andy Reid's.

With Patrick Mahomes always expected to miss out as he recovers from a dislocated kneecap, the Chiefs simply needed to have all hands on deck for their matchup with the 6-1 Packers. Unfortunately for them, that is anything but the case

On Friday, KC officially ruled out defensive tackle Chris Jones (groin), defensive end Frank Clark (neck), left tackle Eric Fisher (hernia), left guard Andrew Wylie (ankle) AND cornerback Kendall Fuller (thumb).

Folks, all six of those players start for the Chiefs, and we don't doubt that Reid would consider them some of the best of his bunch.

Mahomes is the NFL's reigning MVP, Jones finished third in the league in sacks last year, Clark recorded 13 sacks with Seattle in 2018, Fuller was second on the team in tackles last season and Wylie has appeared in all of a possible 21 games dating back to 2018.

That is production you simply cannot replace heading into a game against any opponent, let alone one against one of the best teams in the NFL.

The Packers are scorching hot of late, winning three in a row in convincing fashion, and they should be heavily favorited to dispose of the Chiefs on the road at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night.
