Chiefs Injury Woes Continue as Damien Williams Taken to Locker Room at Halftime
By Michael Luciano

The post-Kareem Hunt running game for the Kansas City Chiefs has been nothing short of a nightmare, as they have failed to settle on a lead dog in the backfield. Damien Williams had started to assume that role, but the injury bug that's bitten just about anyone with a pulse around the Chiefs has finally gotten to him as well.
Williams went back to the locker room before halftime of the Chiefs-Chargers Monday Night game in Mexico City. Williams had just five touches in the game, piling up 13 yards in total.
Now Chiefs’ RB Damian Williams is going back to locker room before halftime.

At this rate, Reid better get Jamaal Charles or Priest Holmes on the line. Williams has been a non-factor in this game, but losing a starting running back to a rib injury is a nightmare no matter what team it is.

Hopefully LeSean McCoy and Darrel Williams can shoulder the load for the rest of the game if Chiefs Kingdom wants to maintain a grip on pole position in the AFC West.
