Chiefs Losing Back to Back Home Games is a Recipe for Disaster in the AFC West Race
By Michael Luciano

It's amazing what can happen when Patrick Mahomes doesn't throw for 400 yards and four touchdowns every game.
Mahomes, Andy Reid, and the Kansas City Chiefs have lost two straight games at home against two talented teams from the AFC South in Jacoby Brissett's Indianapolis Colts and Deshaun Watson's Houston Texans.

Mahomes has still been playing at a very high level, even if it's not the video game level he was at in the first few weeks. The problem with Kansas City in the last few weeks has been the fact that they haven't even tried to run the ball, which has led to defenses rushing just three and stopping the deep downfield routes this team thrives on.
Not to mention, you know...Mahomes' hobbled ankle, which is very real.
Their defense looked to be on the up and up, but they have massively regressed in the last few weeks, as Watson and Carlos Hyde faced minimal resistance as they plodded up and down the field. You think Tom Brady is sweating anything about Steve Spagnuolo's defense right now?
I'll answer that for you. Hell no.
Frank Clark represents the Chiefs defense very well in the sense that they all suck horribly

Kansas City needs a quick philosophical shift on defense, or they could be in trouble on Thursday Night Football at Denver.
Forget the AFC's top seed. Against the odds, the division is at least slipping into doubt.
