Chiefs LT Eric Fisher Not Expected to Play Today
By Kevin Aquino

The Chiefs have another noteworthy injury to add to the list after losing Tyreek Hill. Offensive tackle Eric Fisher will likely sit out against the Raiders for Week 2 after injuring his groin in practice.
Fisher was selected to his first Pro Bowl last season. He's a monstrous part of the offense, so sitting him early in this season to take care of his groin makes sense. They don't want to risk further injury.
#Packers LT David Bakhtiari, who popped up on the report with a back injury, is planning to play today vs. the #Vikings, I’m told. Meanwhile, #Chiefs LT Eric Fisher, who injured his groin late in the practice week, is a long-shot to play vs. the #Raiders.

Kansas City is the only team that Fisher has ever known, getting selected first overall in the 2013 NFL draft by the Chiefs. Fisher was the fourth offensive lineman to ever be taken with the top pick.
Availability has been a big strength for the 6-7 Central Michigan product, only missing two games in his entire six-year career, both of which came during the 2013 season.
