Chiefs Officially Rule Out Patrick Mahomes and Frank Clark Against the Vikings
By Jerry Trotta

It was largely expected that the Kansas City Chiefs would be at a distinct disadvantage against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Well, those suspicions were confirmed a few hours before the 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
The Chiefs have officially ruled out quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is still working his way back from a dislocated knee cap. Prized offseason trade acquisition Frank Clark, who was listed as questionable to suit up, will miss out as he continues to combat a neck injury.
Veteran journeyman Matt Moore, who has done fine serving as the starer since Mahomes went down, will get a chance to impress for at least one more week

QB Patrick Mahomes
CB Kendall Fuller
RB Darwin Thompson
DE Frank Clark
OL Eric Fisher
OL Laurent Duvernay-Tardif
DE Alex Okafor
Elsewhere, starting cornerback Kendall Fuller and first-string offensive tackle Eric Fisher, who has been limited to two games this season, will also miss out of the highly-touted clash.
Things have just became that much more difficult for Andy Reid to walk away with a victory on Sunday against a Vikings side that has won four games in a row.

The Chiefs obviously still have enough talent to keep things close. Not to mention they will have some 70,000 fans at Arrowhead Stadium doing their best to will their side to victory and rattle Kirk Cousins and Co.
