Chiefs Release Statement in Response to NFL Not Disciplining Tyreek Hill
By Thomas Carannante

The Kansas City Chiefs will have one of their best playmakers join them very shortly after the NFL opted not to suspend or fine wideout Tyreek Hill despite child abuse allegations following him for months.
Quickly after the NFL announced its controversial decision, the Chiefs responded with a statement of their own.

It seems they couldn't wait to get this out there, as you can see with their spacing error in the third line.
Hill had already been given permission to participate in training camp, so many had an idea this decisions was coming. However, it doesn't make the official news any less disturbing. Hill was accused of breaking his son's arm, and while he won't face charges, the NFL has historically disciplined players for merely being mentioned in such morbid offseason incidents. Not to mention, the disturbing audio that was released featuring a conversation between him and his fiancee Crystal Espinal.

• NFL investigator Lisa Friel spent 8.5 hours interviewing Hill in KC in June.
• NFL made multiple attempts to interview Crystal Espinal. Those attempts failed.
• NFL has had the full "terrified" audio since April.
But it's now all in the past and the Chiefs are "glad" to welcome Hill back to the team.
