Chiefs Reportedly Sign QB Matt Moore Out of Retirement After Chad Henne Injury
By Parker White

The Chiefs just signed some Patrick Mahomes insurance.
After being a free agent since 2017, veteran quarterback Matt Moore is coming out of retirement and is back on an NFL roster, signing with the Kansas City Chiefs after backup quarterback Chad Henne suffered a fractured ankle that will require surgery.
With Chad Henne suffering a fractured ankle, the Chiefs are signing former Dolphins’ QB Matt Moore, per source. He now will back up Patrick Mahomes.

The details of his contract are still unknown, but it should be easy money for Moore, who is now backup up the reigning MVP Mahomes. Barring an injury, Moore will ride plenty of pine while Mahomes leads this Chiefs team forward.
I wonder if the Indianapolis Colts called up Moore? They could use a veteran backup more than Kansas City with Andrew Luck's sudden retirement.
