Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is known around the NFL as arguably the fastest player on the field at all times. Hill’s speed was key in Kansas City’s Super Bowl run throughout the 2019 season. His ability to create electric plays with Patrick Mahomes is what makes him a fan favorite in Arrowhead Stadium on Sundays, as well as throughout the Chiefs Kingdom.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, athletes and other figures in the sports world are finding different ways to get involved with their cities these days, turning their attention to the crisis' true heroes. With a bit more time off because of the NFL's virtual offseason program, Hill is taking some time to give back to the community that has welcomed him with open arms since he entered the NFL.

Hill was spotted outside of St. Luke’s hospital plaza giving out meals to the heroes that stand on the frontlines against this pandemic. Not only is Hill one of the hardest workers in the game on the field, but showing up when it matters for the fans off the field is what makes him so endearing.

With his face mask and safety gloves, Hill made sure to keep himself as well as others around him safe. Although it may seem like a small gesture, any little thing that can help out the nurses that are saving lives on a daily basis can help. Tyreek Hill’s efforts on Thursday of giving out lunches showed how truly special it can be when someone finds a way to get involved with COVID-19 relief.
