Chiefs' Tyrann Mathieu Trolls Every Athlete Who Annoys us With Workout Posts on Social Media
By Jerry Trotta
Quarantine has provided athletes with more time than they know what to do with, and most are unfortunately pouncing on every opportunity to post workout clips on social media. While workout videos are semi-tolerable, the classic selfie and dancing-to-music posts are the epitome of cringeworthy.
Well, it's apparent that Kansas City Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu has been taking note of such antics, and he took to Twitter in hilarious fashion to troll his annoying colleagues.
That's comedy at its finest, ladies and gents. Mathieu makes a great point. Professional athletes staying in great shape is literally required for them to perform to the best of their ability. The better they play, the more they get paid.
Again, the occasional clip of athletes grinding isn't the worst thing. We're big fans of that. However, those that feel their followers need to be constantly reminded that they're putting in work is ridiculous.
Good thing that tweet didn't have a video or photo attached to it!
We're no athletes, but the 2019 All-Pro's post further confirms that grinding while keeping a low profile is the better way to go.
