Tyreek Hill Totally Faked Out Media Before Showing Nothing But Respect for Richard Sherman
By Jerry Trotta
The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers caught their first whiff of the Super Bowl spotlight during Opening Night on Monday.
Andy Reid's bunch were the first team to greet the media, and, to nobody's surprise, some outlandish tales were told. None, however, were more deceiving than Tyreek Hill's ode to Richard Sherman.
The Chiefs speedster was presented with a prime opportunity to diminish the veteran defensive back when reporters asked for his thoughts on Sherman. Instead, Cheetah opted to praise his craft, going as far as to call him one of the best to ever do it at the cornerback position.
Hill's not necessarily a renowned trash-talker, but refraining from giving Sherman bulletin board material -- which we know he thrives on -- was absolutely the correct sentiment.
KC's deep ball extraordinaire would even be honored if he could swap jerseys with the five-time Pro Bowler, in fact.
Hill's graceful response caught us by surprise, but there's no doubting that these tenacious competitors will punt the courteous act as they inch closer to gameday.
