Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill Reacts to Firing of KC News Director Who Spearheaded Coverage of His Scandal
By Michael Luciano

Casey Clark, the news director for KCTV in Kansas City, is leaving his post after just two years. Clark's highlight, or lowlight, during his time in Kansas City was the investigation of Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill after Hill was accused of breaking his son's arm.

Hill was investigated by the league, but he never missed a game after they determined he didn't violate the personal conduct policy. Hill isn't exactly sad to see Clark go, as evidenced by his celebratory tweet after the fact.

Shots fired.
KCTV later released an edited audio recording that featured Hill verbally attacking his fiancé, Crystal Espinal, the mother of Hill's son.
The full, unedited version of the audio was made public in July of that year, and it features Hill accusing Espinal of lying about his 2014 domestic violence case and the incident that resulted in his son's broken arm. This recording was a major factor in the NFL's decision to not punish Hill.
Breaking news: KCTV5 News Director @CaseyClarkjr has been OUSTED & let go. New GM Charlie Henrich announced the move yesterday to employees via email. Clark was a driving force behind the terrible KCTV5 reporting on Tyreek Hill. He leaves KC after less than 2 yrs on the job.

Hill is by no means a choir boy, but Clark's reporting as it pertains to this story, especially the decision to air an edited audio recording, was less than stellar.
