Chiefs Clear Tyreek Hill to Play Against Texans in Week 6
By Michael Luciano
After about a month or so on the mend, the single most explosive weapon in all of football is going to return to the Kansas City offense.
Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who has been out since the beginning of Week 1 with a shoulder injury, will suit up for Kansas City's matchup against Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans.
Hill, who caught 87 passes for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns in Patrick Mahomes' first year as a starter, has barely been able to get on the field despite signing a contract that made him the highest-paid receiver in the league.
Due to Mahomes' arm and the nature of Kansas City's offense, Hill was able to be replaced effectively by Demarcus Robinson, Mecole Hardman, and even former Kansas State star Byron Pringle.
Those players were able to make some noise, but they can't hold a candle to Hill in terms of how he can wreck a gameplan by himself. The Kansas City offense is close to being back to full strength, which is a scary thought for the rest of the league.
