ESPN has brought in one of baseball's greatest hitters to spruce up their Wednesday Night Baseball crew.
Former Atlanta Braves third baseman and Hall of Famer Chipper Jones is set to serve as the broadcast's color analyst for 20 games this season.

He'll be replacing Chicago Cubs manager David Ross, who was on the broadcast in years prior. When it comes to breaking down baseball, though, it's hard to imagine someone with a better resume for the job than Jones.
A 19-year MLB veteran, Jones was an eight-time All-Star and an MVP for the Braves. He also won two Silver Sluggers and captured a batting title when he hit .364 in 2008.

Jones was feared for his offensive prowess in his playing days. He finished his career with 468 home runs and a .303/.401/.529 slash line, numbers that are made more impressive by the fact that he did it all as a switch-hitter.
Jones will undoubtedly bring plenty of wisdom to the broadcast booth. Even though he's fairly new to the broadcasting game, it's exciting to hear what he'll have to say.
