Chipper Jones Has Hilarious Interaction With Confused Security Guard at Braves Spring Training
By Michael Luciano

The Atlanta Braves Spring Training facility must be locked up tighter than Fort Knox based on how even Chipper Jones couldn't squeak in.
The legendary third baseman and Wednesday Night Baseball analyst approached a security gate without a proper credential, and the guard on duty stopped him in his tracks before asking his name. When Chipper told the guard in question who he was, he started apologizing profusely before letting Jones inside. Classic.
Chipper showed up today, security guard stopped him and said he didn't have a credential. He smiled, said, "No, but I'm on one of the banners." Security guard asked his name. He said, "I'm Chipper Jones." And the guy apologized profusely. Chipper laughed, told him no problem.

Good thing the Braves hired a Secret Service member to work Spring Training games for them.
Jones is an eight-time All-Star, who spent all of his 19 seasons with the Braves, eventually caving out a career that saw elected into the Hall of Fame on the first ballot. You'd think if ANYONE could waltz into Braves Spring Training without getting the full pat down, it would be Chipper.
Even fellow Braves legend Andruw Jones was in disbelief over what happened.
Hahahah ??♂️

We respect this guard for taking his job so seriously and keeping everyone at the complex safe, but Chipper should get a free pass in and out of any Braves facility without having to worry about being stopped.
