Cardinals RB Chris Johnson Claps Back at FOX Sports on Twitter After They Claimed He Fell Off
By Scott Rogust
Entering the season, the Arizona Cardinals had a sure-thing at the running back position in David Johnson. But ever since he returned from a back injury, he hasn't been the same, and was hardly relevant in the gameplan on Sunday.
Amid the confusion regarding Johnson's lack of touches, Josh Alper appeared on FOX Sports and said the Cardinals rusher had one good season, before regressing, comparing his fall from grace to former Tennessee Titans great Chris Johnson.
The thing is, CJ2K saw this, and pointed out to both Alper and FOX Sports that he had SIX straight seasons of 1,000 yards rushing.
Johnson isn't lying. The former rushing champ logged more than 1,000 yards in each season from his rookie year in 2008 up until 2013.
More importantly, Johnson rushed for 2,006 yards in his second year in the league, earning the NFL's Offensive Player of the Year award.
How hard is it to Google up Chris Johnson's stats to show that he was never a one-hit wonder? As a result, Alper was called out by one of the best running backs in the past decade for millions to see.
