Chris Sale and Michael Chavis Chirped Marcus Stroman From Red Sox Dugout
By Jerry Trotta

The two teams might be heading in opposite directions, but tensions between the Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays remain through the roof.
As we know, right-hander Marcus Stroman has never hidden his emotions while on the hill. On Tuesday night, however, the 28-year-old pitcher elected to take things one step further by quick-pitching Red Sox rookie Michael Chavis in the fourth inning.
Stroman managed to induce the youngster into a ground ball, but on his way back to the dugout, Chavis allegedly had some words for the pitcher's antics. As did Chris Sale.

That fourth inning would end with Stroman covering first base on a ground ball before he switched his attention to Boston's dugout, where Sale was apparently yelling in his direction.
In the postgame presser, the Toronto flamethrower was asked of a potential chirping between the two Red Sox and he said, "Don't know, could care less."

If that response doesn't epitomize Stroman's ever-present pompous attitude, we don't know what does. Nothing escalated further than a heated exchange of words, but perhaps his shenanigans will translate into some real fireworks in the last two games of the series. Stay tuned.
