CJ McCollum Announces He's Taking a Break From Signing Autographs After Coronavirus Hits Oregon

The Coronavirus outbreak has been a major news story over the past few months, as it spread much faster than ever imagined. Earlier this week, the Coronavirus made its way into professional sports, as the Boston Red Sox decided to quarantine a prospect coming over from Taiwan. Finally, the basketball world has been impacted as well.
With the virus now hitting Oregon, Portland Trail Blazers star CJ McCollum has decided to stop giving out autographs as the fear of catching the virus grows by the day.
The Corona Virus has officially hit Oregon. More specifically Lake Oswego...Make sure y’all washing y’all hands with soap for 20 or more seconds & covering ya mouths when you cough. I am officially taking a break from signing autographs until further notice.

Sincerely,
CJ
This is huge news for Blazers fans, as CJ McCollum is a bonafide star, and his autograph is among the most coveted on the team. At the same time, the fans obviously want their seventh-year star to be in exceptional condition to help them secure a spot in the postseason.
As it turns out, the NBA, MLB and NFL are monitoring the Coronavirus situation, as, for good reason, none of them want to be the cause of players catching such a serious illness.
