Clay Matthews Jokingly Claims He Was Upset Aaron Rodgers Didn't Give Him a Farewell Instagram Post
By James.r

After a long and illustrious career as a Green Bay Packer, linebacker Clay Matthews departed this offseason, signing with the Los Angeles Rams. Surely he'll remember his time in Green Bay fondly and miss all his buddies from his old team for years to come.
Well, all of his buddies except one guy who didn't honor their friendship on Instagram:
"When Jordy left, he got an emotional [Instagram post from Aaron]. When Randall Cobb left, he got an emotional [IG post]. All I got was a text. ... After 10 years, he couldn't find the time to put up an Instragram post." - Clay Matthews on Aaron Rodgers (@dpshow)

When this quote first surfaced, the lack of a sarcasm font on Twitter made it difficult to tell if Matthews was serious or not, especially given all the criticism Rodgers has received as a teammate this offseason. Don't worry, though, Matthews was just joking.
Sorry, should have been more clear that Clay was totally kidding around. I get the feeling he's still pretty tight with Aaron Rodgers.

It's good to see that the former teammates still seem to be close.
Matthews should be a great fit with the Rams, as he can be a complement rather than a star for the talented defense in the twilight years of his career. Plus, the defending NFC Champions will give Clay a great chance to win his second Lombardi Trophy.
