The No. 3 ranked Tigers, led by Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne have already clinched a spot in the ACC championship game, but they cannot afford a slip-up in this matchup due to how unpredictable the College Football Playoff selection committee has been. A boffo win over in-state rival South Carolina is a necessity if they want to build momentum, with the conference championship and postseason right around the corner.

The 4-7 Gamecocks will have their hands full vs. the reigning National Champions on Saturday. They'll be looking to play the role of spoiler in this one. South Carolina has already defeated a team that is currently ranked in the top four when they went on the road and upset Georgia in Week 7, and they will be looking to do the same this weekend against a Clemson team that is stacked with future NFL players.
