Browns Punter and 'Scottish Hammer' Jamie Gillan is Excessively Jacked
By Michael Luciano
The Cleveland Browns might not have the best special teams unit in the league last year, but they had one of the most entertaining given the presence of Scottish punter Jamie Gillan.
Known as "The Scottish Hammer," Gillan has wasted no time beefing up in preparation for the 2020 NFL season, as he unveiled a new and significantly ripped upper body that will surely up his tackling game considerably.
Some Browns fans are calling this a torn quad waiting to happen, but others are thrilled that their punter is built like a middle linebacker.
Gillan averaged 46.2 yards per punt in his first season, and the former Arkansas Pine-Bluff punter thinks that a stronger upper body is the way to help that average go up just a few notches.
Most punters will fall over if you breathe on them too hard, but Gillan is willing to lay some lumber on a return guy. Let this new look of his serve as warning to all NFL punt returners: If you think you're going to run Gillan over, the man from Inverness might put you on your back.
