Just one year after a major procedure on his knee, Jimmy Garoppolo's brace might've saved him another tough break in the NFC Championship against the Green Bay Packers. A close-up angle reveals just how close Garoppolo came to what could've been a devastating setback.

Thankfully, Jimmy G is okay and the medical staff pre-planned for such a scenario. While some question exactly how much Garoppolo has to do with the Niners offensive success, considering how far they've come in just a year (with a healthy Jimmy G, for that matter), it's obvious to those around the team that they can't afford to lose the Eastern Illinois product.
