Crazy Details of Redskins WR Cody Latimer's Arrest Revealed
By Tyler Kemp

Former Broncos second-round pick and Super Bowl champion Cody Latimer has had an interesting NFL career, to say the least. He was a young wide receiver who played sparingly in Denver during Peyton Manning’s last Super Bowl 50 victory, played with the Giants for the last two years and then had a career year in all major statistical categories in 2019.
Latimer parlayed his season into a deal with the Washington Redskins earlier this spring. He could have been looking at an expanded role in the nation’s capital, but all of that came to a screeching halt after Latimer was arrested following what is understood to be a poker game gone wrong.
Per police report, Latimer got in argument with another player during poker game. Alcohol was consumed. After everyone left apartment where game was held, Latimer came back agitated and with gun in hoodie pocket. Latimer fired two shots near friend per report. #9sports https://t.co/NWSYE9EuJ2

Latimer was highly intoxicated during the night, per official records. After the host of the game asked everyone to leave his apartment, Latimer departed only to return approximately 30 minutes later with a firearm.
The Redskins receiver faces felony charges after firing off shots following the argument at the poker game. The list of charges includes second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
Former Broncos WR Cody Latimer was arrested shortly after midnight in Englewood, CO, about 5 miles from the Broncos' facility.

He was booked on charges of:
-Assault in the 2nd degree
-Menacing
-Illegal discharge of a firearm
-Prohibited use of a weapon
-Reckless endangerment
We don't yet know how serious Latimer’s punishment will be, but the details at hand don't do much to help his case. He was released on a $25,000 bond following the incident, but with three felonies and two additional misdemeanors charges staring him down, Latimer, who had his first scheduled court hearing earlier today, is setting off on a hard road.
