VIDEO: Colin Cowherd Rips Cowboys and Insults Dak Prescott With Absurd Jared Goff Comparison
By Andrew Gullotta

Fox Sports pundit Colin Cowherd is best known for going on extended rants, and when he does, verifiable evidence tends not to get in the way of his chosen narrative. Take his latest screed on the Dallas Cowboys, whom he labeled as "an 8-8 team" waiting to happen this season. He mentioned their tough schedule, especially in the beginning an later parts of the season, and insists that the Boys are headed for mediocrity once again.

"The only small window for Dallas is in October... That Cleveland game Week 4 could be a season decider." — @ColinCowherd pic.twitter.com/LqLGvGHFST
Cowherd points to Dallas' opening three games, which pair them with the Rams, Falcons, and Seahawks. He went as far as suggesting that Dak Prescott is the worse starting quarterback in all of those matchups.
Seriously.
Cowherd explicitly said that LA's Jared Goff is better than Prescott, which is almost laughable considering Goff's putrid play in 2019. Even if your not a Prescott fan, it is hard to argue that the Cal product is better. He threw for 16 interceptions to only 22 touchdowns last season.
Dak, meanwhile, set career bests in 2019 in both yards and TDs.

Even though Cowherd is well known as a rant machine and we ought not be surprised, bashing Prescott like this just feels wrong. If anything, it's just extra incentive for Big D to show out this season and rub it in all the doubters' faces.
