Colin Cowherd is no stranger to delivering controversial takes. He didn't disappoint with his latest comments on veteran standout Earl Thomas. For those unaware, the Baltimore Ravens safety was allegedly held at gunpoint by his wife after she found him and his brother with other women. Cowherd had a direct shot at Thomas in the most perfect way.

This is an absolutely brutal shot at the safety. Not only did he say Thomas wasn't the key to the Seattle Seahawks' success last decade, he referenced perhaps the most embarrassing moment of the man's life. Go easy on him, Colin! He's already beaten down.

The whole situation is bizarre and Thomas has to expect some jokes will come his way. His best course of action is to stay off social media and not watch or listen to any sports talk shows. He remains an easy target and can't expect all the talk to just go away.
