VIDEO: Colin Cowherd Makes Ridiculous Vince Young-Tim Tebow Gaffe During NFL Draft Segment

Fox Sports personality Colin Cowherd got lost in a rant about Joe Burrow Tuesday afternoon, but couldn't stop himself from making a truly baffling comparison. Cowherd went back in time and said he never liked Vince Young coming out of college, either, because Young reminded him of Tim Tebow. For those keeping track, Young was drafted in 2006, several months before Tebow began his career at Florida.
Colin Cowherd tells us that he did not like Vince Young coming out of Texas, because Young's throwing motion reminded him of Tim Tebow. One small problem: Tim Tebow was still in high school when Young was drafted.

Do you need more convincing that this guy is a fraud? pic.twitter.com/C2cMyBUMPW
I highly doubt that Cowherd, back in the day, was scouring high school footage for Vince Young comparisons to get upset about.
Mistakes do happen in such a 24/7 sports talk format. But this is just a clear example of spouting nonsense for the sake of proving his own point. Clearly Cowherd just didn't like Young, and had to think of any comparison to make to prove that point. The same is true when it comes to how he views Burrow.
"Joe Burrow is not a great prospect. He's a great story... It is remarkable to me when we dismiss stuff that matters. Arm, maturity, wonderlic, hand size. It all matters." — @ColinCowherd pic.twitter.com/FN3zcqiLi8

Cowherd always has hot takes up his sleeve, and his Young-Tebow comparison is one of the more notable ones in quite some time. He will surely find a way to spin this and try to make those laughing at him look dumb instead of accepting what he said.
