VIDEO: Colin Cowherd Claims Seahawks Would Beat Saints if They Met This Season But They Already Did
By Ian Anderson

It looks like Seattle native Colin Cowherd has a short memory regarding the Seahawks and the New Orleans Saints. Note what he said Tuesday on FS1's "The Herd" and try to wrap your head around it.
Here’s the Cowherd clip of him saying the Seahawks would beat the Saints if they met in 2019...even though they did already meet. pic.twitter.com/hT8vjqXMDy

Cowherd clearly forgot that the Seahawks and Saints squared off in Week 3. Sure, a lot has transpired in each NFC powerhouse's season since then, but this was an obvious gaffe.
Perhaps Colin just means that if they were to meet in the postseason, he believes that Seattle would come out on top, but forgetting about the Week 3 game in Seattle does help the Seahawks' narrative, doesn't it?
All told, Cowherd may still have a point here.

To 10-2...
AND FIRST PLACE IN THE NFC WEST! pic.twitter.com/ptuMyn57j0
As Baby Yoda Russell Wilson swept through Seahawks Twitter, Seattle put up 37 points at home in a victory against the Minnesota Vikings, securing their fifth consecutive win. This five-game win streak is second only to the best team in football, the Baltimore Ravens.
The Seattle win moved them up to second place in the NFC pecking order behind the Saints, who own the head-to-head tiebreaker. However, a meeting between these two teams in January is certainly not out of the question.
