The maturity level of Roger Goodell and the National Football League seems to be around the same as that of a five-year-old with respect to Colin Kaepernick's much-discussed private workout.

After deciding not to publicly display which teams would attend Kaepernick's showcase Saturday, the NFL decided to one-up its nonsensical decision with another.

The league decided to not allow the general media to attend Colin Kaepernick's workout, and they could do so because it was initially at the practice field of an NFL franchise; in this case, the Falcons.

Now, the former 49ers quarterback has decided to move his workout to a different venue in Atlanta and a host it an hour later so that media members could attend.

Kaepernick surely wants to make sure that everyone can see this workout in the interest of publicity and transparency, despite the NFL's apparent attempts to keep it under wraps.

Former Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson, who was initially slated to lead the drills, has been asked if he still wished to do so. A response from Jackson has not been reported as of this writing.

The NFL tried to stifle and manipulate the narrative of this workout as much as they could. Instead, Kaepernick has decided to seize full control by changing venues. This continuation of the petty and questionable behavior that began in 2016 with the NFL effectively deciding to blackball Kaepernick league-wide has continued in other ways over three years later. At the very least, you'd hope that the man would be able to either sink or swim based purely on the merits of his play.
