Colin Kaepernick's Latest Tweet Takes Shot at NFL Teams That Still Won't Sign Him
By Sean Facey

Colin Kaepernick's absence from the NFL has been a stain on the shield for the majority of the past three years. He's gone an inexplicable amount of time without taking a snap under center.
And in his latest tweet about how he trains to stay ready, he took a shot at the 32 franchises who haven't bothered to give him another chance at proving himself.

It's hard to blame Kap for counting the 889 days that he's been denied at job at the NFL level. He knows that he's deserving of another chance, and the stats (as well as some of the absolute bums who have gotten a chance) more than back him up.
From 2012 to 2016 while with the 49ers, Kaepernick was more than just an effective quarterback. He threw for 12,236 yards, 72 touchdowns and just 30 interceptions in 66 games. Kaepernick also posted a respectable 88.9 passer rating during that stretch while adding 2,302 yards on the ground and 13 rushing touchdowns.
In other news, Nathan Peterman continues to get NFL paychecks.

To put this into perspective, Kaepernick had a higher passer rating than Joe Flacco's mark of 83.5 during the same stretch, and managed to throw 41 fewer interceptions despite playing in just eight fewer games.
Flacco is still in the league and the frontrunner for the starting quarterback job in Denver. Kaepernick is nowhere close to a league roster.

By pretty much every meaningful measure, he's what quarterback-hungry team could ask for. The only reason he's been held out of a job is because of his political views, and that's downright shameful.
