Colin Kaepernick Seemingly Takes Shot at Jay-Z on Twitter Over 'Moving Past Kneeling' Comments
By Thomas Carannante
Jay-Z has had plenty of critics over the last week after a video surfaced of him announcing a music and activism partnership with the NFL. In that clip, he was seated alongside commissioner Roger Goodell as he fielded a number of questions.
In answering one of them, he commented that "we've moved past kneeling" and that the whole movement wasn't about Colin Kaepernick, the player to start the kneeling domino effect, not having a job on an NFL team.
Well, it seems Kap had a response for the rapper and businessman on Twitter.
Just a few days earlier, the former San Francisco 49er tweeted this too:
And a couple days later, Eric Reid ripped into Jay-Z for his commentary and overall partnership with the league. Coincidence? We think not.
Based on what has transpired over the past few years, there's no doubt a lot of people are raising eyebrows at Jay-Z stepping into a situation that really had nothing to do with him...and then speaking on behalf of everything as if he's orchestrating where the movement is going.
There are many out there that have very strong viewpoints opposing what Jay-Z is doing and they seemingly got validation from Kaepernick's tweet a few days after criticism was at its peak.
