College Basketball's Top 25 Will See Massive Shakeup After Upset-Filled Saturday Slate
By Karl Rasmussen

This college basketball season has been as hard to forecast as any in recent memory. With no clear-cut top dogs and upsets occurring virtually every night, fans are left confused as to which teams are the real deal.
Well, Saturday night's action did nothing to clear that up. Multiple Top 25 teams took a tumble over the weekend, including a trio of Top 5 teams -- Auburn, Butler and Duke.
Duke's loss to Louisville is the 6th loss by an AP Top 5 team this week (Butler 2x, Auburn 2x, Duke 2x).

That is tied for the most losses by AP Top 5 teams in a single week in poll history (since 1948-49), and the most since February of 1994.
All three of the aforementioned Top 5 programs not only lost on Saturday, but also lost previously in the week. With Louisville trumping the Blue Devils, Auburn falling to Florida and Butler getting stunned by DePaul, the trio should expect a hard plummet out of the Top 5.
Other losers from Saturday's slate included No. 12 West Virginia, No. 20 Colorado, No. 16 Wichita State and No. 21 Ohio State.
Meanwhile, No. 8 Oregon narrowly avoided losing its second game in a row, thanks to an overtime 3 from Payton Pritchard. No. 9 ranked Florida State also needed overtime to escape with a win over Miami.

With so many teams set to fall from their current rankings, college basketball fans should figure to see a very new-look Top 5 in the next AP Poll.
