VIDEO: College Football Hall of Fame Damaged in George Floyd Protests
By Jerry Trotta

The unspeakable death of George Floyd has sparked racial protests throughout the nation, and on Friday night, the demonstrations extended to downtown Atlanta. As we've seen in Minneapolis, the protests have turned violent and several corporations and buildings have been burned to the ground. During the pandemonium in Atlanta, much of the same transpired as protestors managed to damage and loot the College Football Hall of Fame. NBC News reporter Blayne Alexander's footage of the wreckage is truly disconcerting.

As evidenced in the video, protestors smashed the Hall of Fame's front windows and raided its gift shop. Fortunately, none of the historical items inside were damaged or stolen on Friday night.
College Football Hall of Fame CEO Kimberly Beaudin tells @MauraSirianni that none of the artifacts or history memorabilia was damaged last night. Just the glass in front of the store. #11Alive

The CFB Hall of Fame moved from South Bend, Ind. to Atlanta back in 2014. The current location is located near the CNN Center and Centennial Olympic Park, which has quickly and evidently become the hotbed of these destructive demonstrations.
